That is the direction of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Tue Hien at the meeting to collect comments for the draft provincial planning period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, taking place this morning (December 15).

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, divisions, and branches; experts from the planning advisory group of the province attended. The meeting is connected online to the province’s districts, towns, and cities.
Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Tue Hien asked the Provincial Planning Steering Committee members to actively comment on the draft report to have the best product on provincial planning.
In the morning, representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, and sectors focused on commenting on nine contents related to the fields of Industry, trade – services, electricity-energy infrastructure; to develop industrial parks and industrial clusters, agriculture, irrigation infrastructure, and natural disaster prevention; transportation infrastructure; urban and rural development; land use planning, environmental exploitation, and protection, biodiversity, waste collection, and treatment; press, radio, television, electronic information, publishing establishments, information, and communication infrastructure and digital economy development; economic links, investment attraction, business development; security and defense associated with socio-economic development.
Based on the draft report of the consulting unit, members of the Provincial Planning Steering Committee and representatives of the leaders of the departments and branches said that: The draft report is still long; The assessment of the current situation is only at the level of listing data, not in-depth analysis and evaluation of the contribution of each specific field to the overall development of the province.
For example, radio and television agencies and Binh Phuoc Newspaper, the construction of the planning project still has many contents that have not been shown boldly and strategically because the press model of Binh Phuoc is entirely different from other localities in the country. Therefore, content related to the converged newsroom, technical infrastructure, journalism economy, digital infrastructure, printing and publishing technology, etc., must be shown more clearly.
The steering committee members wish the consulting unit needs to update the data accordingly; at the same time, study the province’s planning in the previous period to assess the socio-economic development situation of the area close to reality. Based on the departments’ comments, branches and consulting units have received and will supplement and edit to make the report more and more complete.
This afternoon, the meeting will continue with six comments about culture, society, education, health, districts, towns, and cities in the province./.
